"Concealing or denying evil is like allowing a wound to keep bleeding without bandaging it"- Pope Francis. The Pope is the head of the Catholic church and has a great influence. He said this in relation to the Armenian genocide but it can be applied to any genocide that's being denied and he's saying that they are only hurting themselves by trying to deny it.
"The Armenian massacre was the greatest crime of the war."- Theodore Roosevelt. Theodore Roosevelt was the President of the United States and this quote is important because he admits there to the existence of the genocide which America decided it wouldn't due because it was allies with Turkey and that might make them upset.
"You can talk about Holocaust denial, but it's really marginal for the most part. What is compelling about the Armenian genocide, is how it has been forgotten."- Atom Egoyan. He is a Canadian Director but he was still one of the few who know about the Armenian genocide and commented on it.
“In general, those who resort to mass murder on a collective scale always put forward the justification that they acted on behalf of the nation."- Taner Akçam. He is a Turkish historian and is one of the first to openly admit that the genocide happened.
“Never underestimate the power of good but never ignore evil lurking in the hearts of men. Rose of Life”- Sonia Rumzi. This is an Armenian who wrote the book It Could Happen Again who knows has deep heritage in Armenia and whose ancestors survived the genocide.
